These aren't patches, this is fabric from a pair of surf trunks that cover the interior for warmth (and style, of course!)
I'm a skinny-ish guy from both the tundra and the fog of the Bay Area, so I've been lining my pants for warmth these many years. Over time I've been getting more bold with my fabrics and colors! And I have developed a way to put down the quilt pattern and take a belt sander to the jeans to give them a perfect distressed look. I’m proud of my work. The interior fabric is untouched, promise. I love perusing the racks at the goodwill and buying individual jackets and slacks that would make for a fun lining.
After a few compliments and prototypes, I've worked out these really comfy jeans. 
 
I wear  approximately 30" x 32" Levis jeans, (maybe that has drifted towards a 31" waist, but nevermind) please let me know if I can make you some of these jeans in your size. DM me.
Or better yet, do you wear about the same size as me? Then we are both in luck!!
A cellphone pocket/holster has been a must. I have mine on my left side, because I'm left handed. This particular cell phone pocket came from the back pocket of a separate pair of jeans. Again, let me know which side you'd prefer the pocket be on! Also, if you'd like cuffs at the bottom, I can customize that for your inseam. 
 

Care: I wash these jeans normally, even going through the dryer, but if you want to hand wash and line dry, that might be better!
